RPS Thea Musgrave Grants for Composition and Performance

The Royal Philharmonic Society is offering two Thea Musgrave Grants - one for composition and one for performance.

Thea Musgrave Composition Fund

This fund is for composers who have already launched their career and are no longer in education/training nor applying for development programmes (such as the RPS Composers programme). Applicants should be able to demonstrate an original voice and significant musical proficiency, and how their music has already been positively embraced by performers and audiences.

Thea Musgrave Performance Grant

This fund offers grants to help performers, ensembles, festivals and venues to put Thea Musgrave’s music at the heart of their UK programming, and promote it in distinctive ways to captivate audiences. RPS are particularly keen to see creative and imaginative responses to Thea’s music, and real zeal to make a distinctive feature of it in your future plans, matching the impactful character of the music itself.
