Workshop Leader

Workshop leaders facilitate practical music workshops and projects for young people, communities and the general public. 

Many music organisations, especially non-profits, organise music focused workshops that aim to give back to members of the community. 

These workshops can be facilitated by music makers and music industry professionals, the workshops can surround well-being, learning how to produce songs, to creating portfolios or song writing sessions. 

A workshop leader needs to be an good facilitator. Which includes applying their knowledge and experience to workshop attendees that is clear and enables attendees a creative outlet. 

Workshop leaders require the following skills:

People management
Emotional intelligence
Strong passion for music
Communication skills
Safeguarding skills
