Orchestra managers are the communication bridge between staff and orchestral performers. They're responsible for managing schedules, overviewing budget and coordinating with finances and directors.
Orchestra mangers lead a group of people, from the stage crew, to the administrative staff, to the performers. With the responsibility of managing a various groups that all contribute to the orchestra their managers require the following skills:
