Music Producer
Music producers provide the recipe for recording artists. Music producers work in music studios and may create music for albums, films, advertising or other creative outlets.
Whether you're working with individuals or bands, music producers are responsible for binding together separate parts of a recording process. Music producers work alongside sound engineers on the technical aspects of recording production process, however they have more creativity flexibility in how they produce audio.
The core responsibilities the role entails are as follows:
- Operating technical equipment including mixing desks, audio editing and sound design.
- Helping artists achieve the sounds they're striving for.
- Advising artists on album songs.
