RPS Thea Musgrave Grants for Composition and Performance

The Royal Philharmonic Society is offering two Thea Musgrave Grants - one for composition and one for performance.

CULTVR LAB - Electronic Music Performance with Ableton Live

This weekend crash course will help demystify the process of building a custom live electronic music performance system that is based around use of Ableton Live.

Perfect for DJs, musicians, composers and anyone curious about audio.

FOCUS Wales 2026 – International Showcase Festival

FOCUS Wales will be back for 2026, taking over Wrexham from 7–9 May with 250+ live performances, a global music industry conference, and a chance for artists to perform in front of international delegates, media, and new audiences. Open to emerging artists of all genres from around the world, this is your chance to join one of the UK’s leading showcase festivals.

BBC Young Composers Competition

The nationwide BBC Young Composer competition 2025 is now open!

If you're aged 12-18 (on 1st July 2025) and based in the UK, this is your chance to get your music heard, work with professional musicians and take your creativity to the next level.

BBC National Orchestra of Wales is passionate about supporting and showcasing the work and talent of Composers across Wales. Youth Music - NextGen Fund

Applications open!

The Youth Music NextGen Fund offers young creatives grants of up to £3,000 to make their ideas happen.

It's open to 18–25-year-olds (and up to 30-year-olds who identify as d/Deaf, neurodivergent or Disabled) who live in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

Youth Music want to support the future of the music industries. Singers, Rappers, Songwriters, Producers, DJs, A&Rs, Managers and Agents, right through to roles that have yet to be defined.
